On August 7, we opened our Clean Start ministry with free hot showers for those in need. As of today, August 25, we have seen over 100 people in 15 days be transformed by the dignity of a hot shower and clean clothes.
We offer free hot showers on Monday through Friday from 9–11 AM and 1–3 PM. Appointments are booked in 30-minute intervals and can be made by calling 859-303-7014, or scheduled in person during our free lunch or dinner programs. We provide toiletry items, clean clothes and shoes if needed. We also offer prayer.
How you can help
We need the following items on a regular basis. In addition, we always need volunteers. If you would like to set up a collection drive at your church, school or business, please reach out.
- Shampoo, conditioner and body wash (to refill dispensers in each shower)
- Razors
- Individual packets of shaving cream and talcum powder
- Deodorant
- Underwear for men and women
- Pants for men and women
- Belts
