This year, guests will enjoy seated holiday meals in the Lighthouse dining room after several years of to-go meals.
Thanksgiving dinner will be served on Saturday, November 18, beginning at noon. Volunteers will serve until the food is gone or no one else is in line. Bluegrass Hospitality Group will serve meals from their food truck in our parking lot on Thanksgiving Day—Thursday, November 23, at noon. All are welcome at each meal.
Glen DellaValle will once again provide and prepare the meal while Doug and Stephanie Werne manage the kitchen staff. If you would like to serve the meal, contact us at 859-259-3434 or email Barbara. We couldn’t do it without our faithful volunteers.
This Thanksgiving, remember science has shown that your brain cannot respond to anxiety and gratitude at the same time. Spend some time naming things you are grateful for and watch your fear and worry move out of the way.
