Free Showers
We offer free, hot showers to those in need on Monday–Friday from 9:30–11 AM and 1–2:30 PM.
No appointments necessary. Walk-ins are welcome. Call 859-303-7014 with any questions.
We provide toiletry items, clean clothes and shoes as needed for our clients. We also offer prayer.
Haircuts
Haircuts are offered on Wednesdays from 1–3 PM. Hair must be clean.
Other Services
Clean Start provides a space for personal hygiene with private showers and access to community services. Office space is provided to local community partners to provide needed services. The services provided include:
- Medical services
- Case management
- Access to mental health
- Veterans Administration
- Job readiness and placement
- Aid with housing and referrals to other services

- Shampoo & body wash to refill dispensers
- Deodorant
- Razors & small packs of shaving cream
- Toothbrushes & travel size toothpaste
- Combs & hairbrushes
- New underwear for men & women
- Casual pants and belts for men & women
- Rain ponchos
- Backpacks
