We are excited to introduce our newest team member, Morgan Young. Morgan replaces Allison Barnett as our Administrative Assistant (who we were sad to lose after several years). Morgan is now in charge of coordinating volunteers for lunch, food donations, and the Michael’s Feet shoe ministry—among other things.
She first came to Lighthouse Ministries as an evening dinner volunteer through Dining With Dignity three years ago—originally serving one or two nights a week, and eventually showing up almost nightly. It’s easy to see that she has a heart for missions, loves people, and loves serving them.
Born and raised in Winchester, Morgan was homeschooled through high school and worked at Bluegrass Christian Camp for a couple of summers. She has one older brother and enjoys playing volleyball at Marikkas. Prior to accepting this position, Morgan was the Assistant Aquatics Director for Winchester Parks & Rec. She continues to teach swim lessons and train lifeguards to teach lessons.
