The new year brought new schedules, and we have some volunteer openings to fill.
Every day, our ministry serves between 125–200 people. That’s a lot of meals to be plated, utensils to be wrapped, and coffee to pour! We could use some help getting ready for the day, serving lunch, and prepping and serving dinner.
1. Morning Set-Up: We need some individuals to help us get ready for the day by setting up the dining room for lunch and prepping food. Ideally, volunteers arrive between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. but we are flexible. Please email Morgan or call 859-259-3434 as the sign up calendar for this slot is not currently working.
2. Lunch Volunteers: We need help Monday–Friday to plate food, serve drinks and food, and clean up. Ideal time is from 11 a.m.–12:30 p.m.—but even 11:45-12:30 would be helpful. Please email Morgan or call 859-259-3434 as the sign up calendar for this slot is not currently working.
3. Dinner Volunteers: Dinner time is when we have the most volunteer openings to fill! Dinner volunteers are typically here from 4:30-6:30 p.m. to prep, plate and serve the meal, and clean up afterward. Additionally, someone gives a 10-minute or less gospel message and prays before the meal. This is a great opportunity for teams to serve together, but we are happy to accept individuals.
